Jennifer is my contribution to the “Potters for Justice” fundraiser event taking place at Burlington Beer Company on March 27th 2026. All proceeds will benefit the Vermont ACLU.
Jennifer didn’t choose the 80s — the 80s chose Jennifer, probably because nobody else wanted them. It started innocently enough: one cassette at a thrift store …just to see. One ZZ Top video …purely academic… and suddenly she’s deep in a rabbit hole of acid-washed denim and very serious fashion forensics. The Walkman was a "practical decision". Her friends pretend not to know her at the mall, which Jennifer considers a personal victory. She’s currently ranking cassette tapes by vibe and has strong opinions about which Billy Idol B-sides “go hard.” They all do, Jennifer. They all do.
