Rowan is a caregiver at heart. Creatures big and small seem to find their way to Rowan’s door until the house feels less like a home and more like a slightly chaotic sanctuary. There are bowls, blankets, mysterious bags of feed, and at least one ongoing rescue situation at any given time. Rowan hasn’t met an animal they didn’t love. In everyday life they may be a little impatient, a little quick to sigh… but hand them a baby bird and a dropper and they’ll sit for hours without complaint. A nervous dog gets the softest voice, the steadiest hands. For animals, Rowan has an endless reserve of gentleness that the rest of the world rarely sees.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
