Merv is filed under “rascal” in the dictionary… possibly with a small warning label. He is the undeniable life of the party, the belle of the ball, and an ongoing nuisance to his family. If there’s a spotlight, Merv has already stepped into it, usually with a cigar clamped between his teeth like punctuation. The man has never met a tall tale he didn’t adore, and by the time he’s finished recounting it, he’s typically outdriven the Shriners in their tiny cars and saved the entire parade from certain disaster. His relatives roll their eyes on a reliable schedule, but they’d be the first to admit gatherings fall flat without him. Merv may exaggerate… but he does it with such gusto that you almost hope it’s true.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
