Jeanie has never met an authority figure she couldn't charm. Parents, teachers, the crossing guard, she's got a compliment loaded for each of them. "Love that scarf." "You're so good at this." Adults practically hand her gold stars on sight. Meanwhile, behind the sweet smile, the gears are turning. There's an Ulta down the road, and Jeanie has a plan involving a lip balm, a very innocent face, and zero remorse. Nobody suspects her. They never do. She's too busy being told what a delight she is… which is exactly how she likes it. Her pockets are smooth and her reputation is spotless.
