Indra has been in school so long that the real world feels like a rumor she heard once and never fully investigated. Academia is her natural habitat… the research, the questions, the particular joy of knowing something deeply and then finding out there is more to know. She is exceptionally good at this. What comes after the degree… the unstructured, unsyllabus’d expanse of actual life… that part is giving her pause. Significant pause. The next steps do not come with a reading list and Indra finds that deeply unsettling in ways she is still articulating. She will figure it out. She just wishes that life came with office hours.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
