Dougie runs at a speed that concerns casual observers and delights nobody more than a room full of middle schoolers who didn’t expect to be this engaged in math today. The hyperdrive is not a choice exactly… it’s just Dougie’s factory setting, which turns out to be exactly the right setting for keeping twelve year olds off their phones and nominally interested in fractions. He loves teaching with the kind of love that doesn’t require a good day to sustain it… it’s just there, constant, showing up every morning ready to make someone care about numbers who previously had no interest in doing so.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
