Donnie got laid off from tech and spent the first few weeks in full panic mode, refreshing job boards like a man checking for a pulse. Then something strange happened. He realized he could live on less, and the less came with afternoons. Slow ones. At the local cafe, with a decent latte and no standup meeting in sight. The barista may or may not be flirting with him, and Donnie is gathering data. He's now watching how the espresso machine works with suspicious interest. He'd look good in an apron. The résumé can wait. Donnie is considering a career pivot… one that comes with a name tag.

Small Scary Monster: 7" x 5" x 3"

carved, matte sealant finish, gold luster

* flower

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
