Billy Sue has always been the person animals gravitate toward and she built a whole career around it which was the obvious move. The menagerie at home is extensive and arrived one by one through a series of situations Billy Sue could not in good conscience walk away from. But the chameleons… the chameleons are something else entirely. Something about those swiveling googly eyes and those impossible little grassy hands just completely undoes her in the best possible way. They come into the office wound tight and leave draped across Billy Sue like she’s a particularly trustworthy branch. She cannot explain the connection and has stopped trying.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
