Ari has made peace with the fact that school is not her arena. The grades are what they are, and she has stopped apologizing for them. What she has instead is a radar nobody taught her and no test could measure. She knows when a friend needs a hug before the friend does. She knows when someone needs space and quietly gives it without making a thing of it. She walks into a room and reads it like a book. Plenty of people with higher GPAs have no idea what to do with a person in tears. Ari always does. She's the smartest one there, it just doesn't show up on paper.

Medium Scary Monster: 9.5" x 5.5" x 4.25"

matte glaze finish, gold luster, matte sealant finish

* heart

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
