Goldie did not grow up in a house where parents and kids told each other things… there were roles, there were distances, there was a correct way of doing it. So the relationship she built with Kate snuck up on her completely. Not best friends… Goldie is clear on that… but something real and close and unmistakable, the kind where everything gets said and both of them mean it. The part she did not anticipate is what Kate actually tells her… which is everything… which is wonderful and also occasionally sends Goldie's anxiety into a full sprint. The bond is worth every single beat of it.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
