Fiona is an artist with what some folks call an “artist’s temperament” and others might just call “spacey.” When she isn’t in her studio elbow-deep in clay or paint, she’s wandering somewhere thinking about it… halfway down the block before she realizes she forgot why she left the house in the first place. Conversations drift past her like radio static because she’s busy rearranging colors in her head or solving a shape that refused to cooperate that morning. And yet, when she finally stands still long enough to make something, the world seems to snap into focus around her. It turns out she isn’t lost at all… she’s just a few steps ahead, living in the part of the day the rest of us haven’t quite reached yet.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
