Edgar does not come with an easy entry point and he has never pretended otherwise. The exterior is what it is… hard edged, a little brash, not exactly an open book… and it has served its purpose for a long time. But crack it… which takes patience and persistence and usually something Edgar respects… and the whole picture changes. Underneath is someone who loves with a completeness that is genuinely startling. Animals, kids, anyone who has made it into the circle Edgar calls his… they are loved thoroughly and fiercely and without reservation. Nobody loves like Edgar. The people lucky enough to know that consider themselves extremely fortunate. The shell was just the door. What's inside was worth the knock.

One of a kind scary monster sculpture made with cone 6 white stoneware clay. Scary monsters are made from slabs of clay that are pushed and manipulated into their monster shapes. They are all fired in a kiln for 3 firings (thats 3 trips into the abyss of 2000+ degrees) depending on the final finish.
